Yotpo - Customer Data

Yotpo is a user-generated content tool for merchants. It includes customer reviews, visual marketing, loyalty, and referrals.

Integration benefits

  • Access a customer's Yotpo VIP status, loyalty point information, review ratings and sentiments, as well as the last 5 reviews for your site's products directly on Gorgias when a customer reaches out for support help.

How to connect Yotpo?

  1. In your Gorgias account, go to Settings -> Integrations -> Yotpo
  2. On the top right of the page, click the Add Yotpo account button to install the integration
  3. You will be redirected to Yotpo. If you are not logged in, you are required to log in before the installation can continue.
  4. After you have logged, click the Authorize button to authorize Gorgias to pull Yotpo data into the Gorgias web app.
  5. After you have authorized the app, you will be redirected back to Gorgias, where you should see the following screen. If you do not, then retry steps 1-4 again.
Gorgias will provide your Yotpo account with a long default name. You can change the integration name by changing the text in the text input under Integration name and selecting Update integrations.
  1. All set! Now, when a customer reaches out to you, you will be able to see their Yotpo information directly in the ticket.

What Yotpo data can be displayed in Gorgias?

Overview data

  1. VIP tier name: The name of the VIP tier that this customer currently belongs to
  2. Average rating: The average star rating for all reviews given by this customer
  3. Number of reviews: The total number of reviews given by this customer

Loyalty points

  1. Point balance: This customer's total point balance
  2. Total points earned: The total number of Yotpo loyalty points that this customers has earned in their lifetime
  3. Total redemptions: The total number of Yotpo loyalty points that this customers has redeemed in their lifetime
  4. Successful referrals: The number of successful referrals made by the customer
  5. Referrals made & clicked: The number of successful referrals that this customer has made
  6. Referral by another customer: Whether this customer was referred by a different customer

Reviews

  1. Average rating: The average star rating given by this customer for all reviews
  2. Average site rating: The average star rating given by this customer for all site reviews
  3. Average product rating: The average star rating given by this customer for all product reviews
  4. Average sentiment: The average sentiment for all reviews from this customer, detected by Yotpo's AI algorithms.
For all sentiment statistics, we show one of three values - positive, neutral and negative.
  1. Average site sentiment: The average sentiment for all site reviews from this customer, detected by Yotpo's AI algorithms.
  2. Average product sentiment: The average sentiment for all site reviews from this customer, detected by Yotpo's AI algorithms.
  3. Top topics: A list of this customer's top topics of interest as determined by their reviews.

Five latest reviews

  1. Date created: The date that this review was created
  2. Rating: The star rating given by this customer in this review
  3. Published status: An indicator of whether this review has been published or left unpublished
  4. Title and text: The title and text of this review
  5. Rating upvotes and downvotes: The number of upvotes and downvotes by other customers for this reviews
  6. Product information: Information regarding the product for which this review was made for.
    1. Name: This product's name
    2. Product page: The URL of this product's page
    3. Category: The product category
    4. Reviews: The total number of reviews made for this product
    5. Product rating: The average star rating for this product from all customers

Frequently asked questions

  1. Is it possible responding to customer's reviews directly from Gorgias?
    No, reviews won't be creating tickets in Gorgias as of now, so we are not able to respond to Yotpo reviews yet directly. But our team is continuously working on improving client's experience so you can expect this feature pretty soon!
