Steps
1. In Gorgias, navigate to Settings → App Store → All Apps and find ‘CartConvert’ on the list.
2. Once you’re on the CartConvert page in our App Store, please click the blue ‘Connect App’ button on the right.
3. On the next page, you will be asked to log into your CartConvert account. If you don't have one already, you are free to create a new account on the spot and the integration setup will continue.
4. You will then be asked to give CartConvert access to your Gorgias data, so please click the blue ‘Authorize’ button in the bottom right.
5. Finally, you’ll be redirected back to CartConvert, confirming that the setup is complete! In Gorgias, you’ll find the app connected on the path Settings → App Store → My Apps.
When CartConvert registers an abandoned cart, they will text the customer for you in hopes of winning them back. They will use the Knowledge Base provided by your team below to match your brand tone and answer any questions that the customer may have:

Once CC has exhausted the Knowledge Base they will send the conversation your way, and you will be able to handle it further using Gorgias via Email or Voice:
Limitations
- The integration currently supports only Shopify and BigCommerce users.
- There is no multi-store support for this integration just yet, but it’s in the works!
- Only customers who respond to CartConvert are sent to Gorgias, not all of them, as this enables your team to focus on high-intent conversations that convert. Once the conversation has been handed off to Gorgias your team can proceed from there and no new message will be logged in Cart Convert, only in Gorgias.
- In terms of when CartConvert will consider a cart abandoned and will therefore reach out to the customer, please note that they follow Shopify’s definition - you can find it here.
- They’re only able to reach US or CA numbers, other regions are locked for the time being.
- The customer would have to create a new cart from scratch with a new email address so that CC can contact them again. Even if they use a different phone number the 2nd time, if they used the same email address, CC won't be able to open a new conversation with them.
