  1. View Customer Loyalty Information:
    • Point Balance: Quickly access the customer's current loyalty points balance to assist with inquiries and rewards.
    • Tier Status: Check the customer's loyalty tier status to provide context-aware service and acknowledge their loyalty.
    • Referral Link: Retrieve the customer's referral link, allowing you to support their efforts in sharing your brand with others.
    • Macros: Insert the point balance, tier status, and referral link in tickets and emails with customers.
  2. Adjust Loyalty Points:
    • Modify Points: Effortlessly add or subtract loyalty points for customers, whether to resolve issues, reward loyalty, or correct errors.

Steps

  • From your Gorgias account head to SettingsApp StoreAll Apps.
  • Find Kangaroo Loyalty Rewards on the list.
  • Click on the Connect App button.
  • Authorize the app
  • Once the authorization is done, there will be an HTTP integration created:
  • In addition, 3 macros will be created as well > Point Balance, Referral Link, and Tier Status.
  • Lastly, follow these instructions to enable the Kangaroo widget on the store:
  • You need to also connect an eCommerce platform to the Kangaroo app (Shopify, Big Commerce, or Magento), in order for the app to work with Gorgias. Go to Settings>Apps & Integrations:
  • Once a store is connected, an order needs to be fulfilled in order for the customer to be created in Kangaroo, as customers from eCommerce stores won't be automatically pulled into the app:
  • When a ticket is created/updated, for an existing customer in Gorgias and Kangaroo, the widget will auto-populate with the relevant data:
  • If the widget shows no data, this means that the customer doesn’t exist in Kangaroo:
  • You can adjust the customer's Loyalty Points in Kangaroo, which will then reflect in the Gorgias widget:
  • You can also assign a free shipping offer to a customer:
  • Once either option is used, the actions will be visible in the ticket’s internal note:
