Order Protection is offered as an additional item at checkout. There’s no extra application process or forms to fill out, shoppers just proceed with checkout and are instantly protected against shipping issues.
The issues that customers are protected against at checkout include:
- Theft
- Delivered not received
- Damaged item
- Lost in transit
- Wrong item
The Order Protection widget seamlessly integrates with Gorgias, enhancing the ticket-viewing experience for users with all relevant information in one place. It simplifies the claim-filing process for users with convenient shortcuts, reducing friction and eliminating the need for manual navigation.
The integration provides Macros that automate the claim notification process, informing customers about the option to place protected orders with Order Protection.
Steps
1. Go to Settings -> App Store -> All Apps.
2. Find Order Protection on the list and click on it.
3. Click on the Connect App button.
4. Authorize the app.
An HTTP integration will be created under Settings -> Apps Store -> HTTP Integration -> Manage and a Macro and widget will automatically be created as well.
You can file claims from the Gorgias widget, or use the associated Macro and send it to the shopper so they can file it.
Tickets are not created with this integration - the app merely displays customer and order/claim info in the widget.
