With the Ubu+Gorgias integration, you will be able to:

• Link an Instagram user to a Gorgias customer profile by automatically capturing their email address.
• Split influencer messages, community interactions, and customer service requests, ensuring each is handled by the appropriate team for more efficient communication by leveraging Gorgias Tags.
• Enrich Instagram Tickets with attributes such as: # of followers, # of post/story mentions, email address, etc.

When you get an Instagram DM Ticket open with a customer, the Ticket Widget will display Ubu data for you as shown in the screenshot below:

Steps

1. Log into your Ubu account first, as you will have to generate an API key in order to integrate with Gorgias. Navigate to Integrations in the top-right corner of your dashboard once logged in:

2. Open the Gorgias page from the list and generate the key:

3. Then, add your Gorgias subdomain into the empty field once prompted. Make sure to add the name only, not the entire URL or the ‘gorgias.com’ part:

4. Click the green ‘Allow Access’ button once done. This will prompt the OAuth2 window and you will want to allow access once again.

5. Once approved, you’ll find your Ubu connected on the path Settings → My Apps → Ubu and an HTTP Integration on the path Settings → HTTP Integration → Getubu:

FAQ

Why is my Ubu Widget missing?

If you receive a DM from a customer without any previous interaction, please keep in mind that Ubu has to send an API call to Meta to get the account profile and create a thread on Ubu, so the Widget may not get updated right away. However, it will get updated with the second message.
In order to have the Ubu Ticket Widget pop up, the customer will have to DM you via Instagram first. If they never DM-ed you, the Widget won’t show up on their Ticket
However, from the moment they’ve DM-ed you, you will see the Ticket Widget on all of the subsequent Tickets that they open with you, no matter the channel.

Limitations

• One Gorgias account can be connected with one Ubu account at the moment. The integration will only work on 1-to-1 setups for the time being.
  However, a single Ubu account can have multiple workspaces, and you can have all of those target the same Gorgias account if needed.
