Integration benefits

How to connect Smile?

  1. Go to your Gorgias account
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Go to Integrations -> Smile -> Add Smile
  4. Click on "Install Smile for {your Shopify store}"

Well done! Now that you’re all set, you can view your customers' Smile data and use variables in your Gorgias automation tools.

Insert Smile data inside the customer's sidebar

Once your Smile integration is connected, the last step would be actually pulling the Smile info inside the customer's sidebar. This can be done by simply clicking on the little cogwheel icon in the top right corner of the ticket, right above the customer's name. Scroll all the way down and drag the customer's Smile info inside the sidebar like in the example below.

This change will be applied for all customer profiles once you access their ticket!

Smile macro variables

You can equip your macros with Smile variables and then use those macros in your rules as well. Here's a screenshot of where to find the variables when creating a macro:

**Please note, this integration is available to all customers but will only be supported for Advanced and Enterprise plan customers. While any plan can set up the integration following the instructions,  due to the manual work it requires on our end, if you are on the Basic or Pro plan we will not be able to provide support in setting it up or fixing any issues with it should they arise.
Integration creation is possible only from Gorgias account side. You can't integrate it from your Smile dashboard.
