This integration was built by our partners and the wait time in case of any technical issues might be a bit longer than for a regular support request.

Smartrr
delivers a seamless, full-service subscription solution for growing D-to-C brands. Through the Gorgias integration with Smartrr, you have access to:

  • Equip your team with the best customer service tools in one convenient location to increase customer satisfaction and drive customer loyalty.
  • Smartrr’s native Shopify checkout provides consumers with an elegant and branded buyer experience alongside an industry-leading account management portal that empowers them to build a curated engagement with your brand.
  • Sync your customer’s subscription data with Gorgias and manage customer support more efficiently and seamlessly.
  • Smartrr maximizes the lifetime value of your subscribers with best-in-class business management tools, including advanced analytics and a user-friendly admin portal, that unlock your brand’s potential as a recurring revenue engine.

Triggers are only activated by Gorgias - every time one of the actions listed in the trigger section is performed, it'll send a request to the Smartrr App to pull data from their API.

We can only pull/view data and can't send/modify data from Gorgias.

Steps

Connect the integration

1. Generate a new access token in the Smartrr app for Gorgias.

2. Once the menu opens, give your token a nickname and set the Application Name to Gorgias.
3. Scroll down and set the Subscription permissions to Read and Write to allow Gorgias custom actions to modify subscriptions.
4. Leave the rest of the permissions as default and click Create.

5. In Gorgias, go to Settings -> You -> REST API and copy your credentials.

6. On the Smartrr app, go to Integrations -> Integrations marketplace, scroll down to the Gorgias card, and click Connect.
7. Fill in the four fields with information from step 5, and click Connect and Create Widget.
8. Once the widget and integration are created, go back to Gorgias and create a sample ticket for a customer who has Smartrr data.
9. Click the cog icon in the upper right to edit widget settings.
10. Scroll down the widgets until you locate the Smartrr integration and drag any data you’d like to see to the sidebar, then Save changes.

Manually set up the integration

These steps aren't necessary if the integration was completed successfully following the steps above - use them in case an update event breaks the integration.

1. Go to Settings -> App Store -> HTTP Integration -> About.

2. Click on Add HTTP Integration

3. Fill out the information asked.

  • Name: Smartrr Integration
  • Description: /
  • Triggers: Check all of the boxes
  • URL is going to specifically be: https://api.smartrr.com/vendor/order?filterLike[email]={{ticket.customer.email}}
  • HTTP Method: GET
  • Response content type: application/json

4. You'll have to add a header called x-smartrr-access-token - the value would be the access token you generated in the Smartrr App in the Integrations tab.

5. Once the integration is created, other steps are the same ones as the setup steps above. Step 6 onwards.

Using the Smartrr Widget

The Smartrr widget should appear if the associated customer in Gorgias has a subscription. This widget will allow you to manage a customer’s subscription without leaving the relevant ticket page.
