The Gorgias Community is a members-only hub for our users. Members include a global network of support agents, business owners/founders, and internal Gorgias staff.
Members enjoy early access to new features, exclusive beta programs, and competitions. It's a good way to connect, share knowledge, and pick up tips and tricks from thousands of industry experts.
To foster a welcoming environment for everyone, members must adhere to our guidelines.
Be kind and courteous
We're all in this together to create a supportive environment, so let's treat everyone with respect and steer clear of challenging or attacking members. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
No surprise DMs
Members are permitted to direct message one another, however, don't message another member who you don't know or who isn't expecting a message from you.
No hate speech or bullying
Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity won't be tolerated.
Be commercially aware
Use your professional judgement before posting. Don't discuss prices, salaries, benefits, fees, specific business transactions, individual companies, and in particular don't defame, disparage, or criticize any person or company.
No promotions, soliciting, or spam
Refrain from promoting your services in the community. Recommending a vendor is fine - but vendors themselves are not permitted to join. Self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links aren't allowed.
Respect everyone's privacy
Being part of a community requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the community stays in the community.
Keep customer details private
If discussing a customer example or screenshot, be mindful of any information that could identify that customer. We recommend blurring or obfuscating any confidential information. This includes names, addresses, phone numbers, IP information, and social media handles.
How do I join?
All new users will receive an invitation to join the Community. This can sometimes be sent to the spam or promotions folders. If you're missing an invite, please submit a request to join.
My request has been declined incorrectly. What do I do?
The membership process is automated and occasionally incorrectly declines members, so our team manually confirms all requests to join.
If you've been declined, our team will respond within 2 business days.
I requested to join but never received an invitation. What do I do?
Invitations can sometimes be filtered into the spam/junk/social/promotions folder in your email, so please check other inboxes. If you can't find it there, please reach out to support via [email protected].
I am a member but I'm being shown the lock screen (with request to join form). What do I do?
If you have previously logged into the Community, please try clicking the Log in button and logging in. It may be necessary to reset your password if you've forgotten it.
Gorgias hosts our Community on Circle, so if you're a member of a different community that also uses Circle, please try logging in using these credentials.
What's happening to the Facebook community?
We love our Facebook community members and appreciate your help in growing the group. If we can identify your email address we'll be sending a personal invitation your way. For all other members please send an email to [email protected] or fill in your details here.
Who can join?
While the community is accessible to anyone, only members can view and join discussions. Membership is available for all users who belong to a current paying account.
What are the benefits of membership?
Members can access unlimited resources, view/join discussions, participate in competitions, register for early access to new features, and network with other members.
Non-members have access to selected resources and won't be able to view/join discussions or see current members as discussions within the community are accessible to members only.
I need help. Who do I contact?
For all support please reach out to our Support team via Chat or email them at [email protected].
While our team's actively engaged with Community members and content, it's not intended to be a support channel.
I requested to join. What happens now?
Membership requests are screened automatically. Our system will attempt to match the details you've provided with our records, to confirm the email address entered is associated with a paying account.
If approved, you'll receive an email inviting you to join by clicking a link that's specific to you.
If not approved, you'll receive an email with further information. When this happens our team is notified and will verify your membership manually within a few days. If your membership hasn't been approved within 2 business days, please reply to the email.
Where do I find my subdomain?
Open your Gorgias account and look at the website address (URL) - this should read something like: myaccount.gorgias.com. In this example, the subdomain is myaccount.
