It&#x2019;s a good best practice to re-take programs annually to keep your certificate up to date, as we&#x2019;re always updating our content to keep up with our evolving product.</p><h3 id="skills">Skills</h3><p>Some courses will also contribute to skills. When you&#x2019;ve completed every course related to a skill, you&#x2019;ll get a badge on your profile. Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn&apos;t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity won&apos;t be tolerated.</p><p><strong>Be commercially aware</strong>
Use your professional judgement before posting. Don&apos;t discuss prices, salaries, benefits, fees, specific business transactions, individual companies, and in particular don&apos;t defame, disparage, or criticize any person or company.</p><p><strong>No promotions, soliciting, or spam</strong>
Refrain from promoting your services in the community. Recommending a vendor is fine - but vendors themselves are not permitted to join. Self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links aren&apos;t allowed.</p><p><strong>Respect everyone&apos;s privacy</strong>
Being part of a community requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What&apos;s shared in the community stays in the community.</p><p><strong>Keep customer details private</strong>
If discussing a customer example or screenshot, be mindful of any information that could identify that customer. We recommend blurring or obfuscating any confidential information. What do I do?</p><p>Invitations can sometimes be filtered into the spam/junk/social/promotions folder in your email, so please check other inboxes. Each one has its own toggle, so you can try as many or as few as you like.</p><ol><li>From the <strong>Labs</strong> page, scroll to the <strong>Feature betas</strong> table.</li><li>In the <strong>Feature</strong> column, find the beta you want to try.</li><li>In the <strong>Status</strong> column for that beta, click the toggle so it reads <strong>Active</strong>.</li><li>Reload the page to see the feature on your account.</li></ol><p>Once you set the toggle to <strong>Active</strong>, the beta feature is turned on for your whole account, not just for you, so let your team know before you turn one on. You&apos;ll see the change reflected in your account once you reload the page.</p><p>The purple tag at the top of the table shows how many feature betas are active on your account.</p><div class="note-callout"><strong>Note:</strong> If a change doesn&apos;t save, you&apos;ll see the message <strong>Couldn&apos;t update</strong> followed by the beta&apos;s name. The toggle goes back to its previous setting, and you can try again.</div><h3 id="understand-what-each-beta-does">Understand what each beta does</h3><p>Each row in the <strong>Beta features</strong> table tells you what the beta is and who it&apos;s offered to. The <strong>Feature</strong> column shows the beta&apos;s name and a short description. Hover over a beta to see a one-line summary of what it does.</p><p>The colored badge next to each beta&apos;s name shows which accounts it&apos;s offered to:</p><ul><li><strong>Open Beta</strong> betas are offered to every account.</li><li><strong>AI Agent Beta</strong> betas are offered to accounts with an active AI Agent subscription.</li><li><strong>Helpdesk Beta</strong> betas are offered to accounts with an active Helpdesk subscription.</li></ul><p>The <strong>Category</strong> column groups betas by area: <strong>AI</strong>, <strong>Automation</strong>, <strong>Productivity</strong>, <strong>Analytics</strong>, <strong>Channels</strong>, or <strong>Other</strong>.</p><h3 id="find-a-specific-beta">Find a specific beta</h3><p>Use the search bar above the table to look up a beta by name, description, category, or badge. You can also filter the table by <strong>Category</strong> or by <strong>Status</strong> to see only the active or inactive betas. Click any column header to sort the table by that column.</p><h2 id="join-core-product-improvements">Join core product improvements</h2><p>Core product improvements are betas that don&apos;t change what you see in the product, such as performance improvements, migration previews, and reliability experiments. Join them to get backend improvements before they reach every account.</p><ol><li>From the <strong>Labs</strong> page, locate the <strong>Core product improvements</strong> card at the top of the page.</li><li>On the card, click the toggle so it reads <strong>Active</strong>.</li><li>Reload the page.</li></ol><p>Core product improvements work as a group. When you turn the toggle on, your account joins every behind-the-scenes beta available to it. When you turn it off, your account leaves all of them. You can&apos;t pick individual core improvements.</p><div class="note-callout"><strong>Note:</strong> The <strong>Core product improvements</strong> card only appears when at least one behind-the-scenes beta is available. If you don&apos;t see it, there are none to join right now.</div><h2 id="turn-off-a-beta">Turn off a beta</h2><p>You can leave any beta at any time. For example, turn one off if it doesn&apos;t suit your workflow or you want to go back to the current experience.</p><ol><li>From the <strong>Labs</strong> page, find the beta in the <strong>Feature betas</strong> table, or locate the <strong>Core product improvements</strong> card.</li><li>Click the toggle so it reads <strong>Inactive</strong>.</li><li>Reload the page.</li></ol><h2 id="faq">FAQ</h2><details><summary><strong>Why can&apos;t I see Labs in my settings?</strong></summary><p>Only admins can open Labs. If you&apos;re an agent or a lead, ask an admin on your account to open Labs for you or to change your role.</p></details><details><summary><strong>Why don&apos;t I see a beta that someone else mentioned?</strong></summary><p>Some betas are only offered to accounts with a specific subscription. Betas with an <strong>AI Agent Beta</strong> badge need an active AI Agent subscription, and betas with a <strong>Helpdesk Beta</strong> badge need an active Helpdesk subscription. If your account doesn&apos;t have that subscription, the beta doesn&apos;t appear in your list.</p><p>Gorgias also adds and removes betas over time, so a beta you heard about may have ended or become available to everyone.</p></details><details><summary><strong>What does &quot;No beta features available&quot; mean?</strong></summary><p>There are no feature betas open to your account right now.
