Active notifications won't go away automatically unless you close them.
In Chrome
Please right-click the tab title in your browser and then select Mute Site.
Alternatively, please follow these instructions:
1. Open Chrome.
2. Click on the three dots -> Settings in the top right.
3. Click on Privacy and security → Site Settings -> Permissions → Notifications.
4. To block notifications from a site, next to Not allowed to send notifications, click on Add.
5. Enter your helpdesk's web address.
In Safari
1. Right-click the URL of your helpdesk.
2. Click on Settings for [your helpdesk].
3. In the Auto-Play dropdown, select Stop media with sound.
