Loop Subscriptions is a Shopify app that helps you manage subscription offerings on your store.

When you set up an Action for Loop Subscriptions in Gorgias, AI Agent can fully resolve requests from your shoppers who want to make changes to their current subscription, like skipping an upcoming shipment, pausing and resuming a subscription, or canceling their subscription altogether.

Available AI Agent Actions for Loop Subscriptions

• Skip next subscription shipment → this Action allows AI Agent to skip an upcoming order for an ongoing subscription. Shoppers will not be charged for the skipped order.
  • If the shopper has a single subscription in Loop, AI Agent processes the request and sends a confirmation email to the shopper.
• Cancel subscription → this Action allows AI Agent to cancel a shopper’s existing subscription.
  • AI Agent collects the reason for cancellation and sends a confirmation email to the shopper when the request is complete.
• Pause subscription → this Action allows AI Agent to pause a shopper’s active subscription. During the paused period, shoppers won’t be charged for any orders.
• Resume subscription → this Action resumes a subscription that had previously been paused.

What you’ll need to set up this Action

• Admin or Lead permissions in Gorgias to set up this Action
• Your API key from Loop Subscriptions

Connecting AI Agent to Loop Subscriptions (find your API Key)

You will need an API Key from Loop Subscriptions in order to set up Actions that give AI Agent access to your customers’ subscription data.

1. Sign in to Loop Subscriptions
2. Go to Settings > Manage API Tokens, then select Generate New Token
   
3. Give your token a name — for example, “Gorgias AI Agent Action”
4. Use the dropdown menus to give the token Read & Write access to each scope (Subscription Contracts, Orders, Customers and Selling Plans)
5. Select Generate
   
6. Copy your API key
7. Return to Gorgias to set up an Action for Loop Subscriptions.
   • Enter the API key from Loop when prompted to set up the Action.

Limitations

• AI Agent is only able to skip, cancel, pause or resume a subscription in Loop if the shopper has a single subscription. If the shopper has multiple subscriptions with your store, AI Agent hands over the ticket for your team to resolve.
• AI Agent can only use Skip next subscription shipment before the order that the shopper wants to skip is created. If a shopper does not want to receive an order that has already been created (but has not yet shipped), then the correct Action for AI Agent is to Cancel order in Shopify.
