AI Agent Actions: manage Skio subscriptionsUpdated a month ago

Skio is a Shopify app that helps you sell and manage subscription offerings on your store.

When you set up an Action for Skio in Gorgias, AI Agent can fully resolve requests from your shoppers who want to make changes to their current subscription, like skipping a shipment or canceling a subscription altogether.

Available AI Agent Actions for Skio

  • Cancel subscription in Skio→ this Action allows AI Agent to cancel a shopper’s existing subscription.
    • When a shopper asks to cancel a subscription, AI Agent checks in Skio whether they have a single or multiple subscriptions
      • If the shopper has multiple subscriptions, AI Agent hands over the ticket to your team to process the cancellation
    • If the shopper has a single subscription, AI Agent collects the reasons for cancellation from the shopper
    • AI Agent cancels the subscription and sends a confirmation email to the shopper
  • Skip next subscription shipment in Skio→ this Action allows AI Agent to skip an upcoming order for an ongoing subscription. Shoppers will not be charged for the skipped order.
    • If the shopper has a single subscription in Skio, AI Agent processes the request and sends a confirmation email to the shopper.
    • Note: a shipment can only be skipped before the order is created. If a shopper does not want to receive an order that has already been created (but has not yet shipped), then the correct Action for AI Agent is to Cancel order in Shopify.

What you’ll need to set up these Actions

  • Admin or Lead permissions in Gorgias to set up this Action
  • An API Key from your Skio account

Connecting AI Agent to Skio (find your API key)

You will need an API Key from Skio in order to set up Actions that give AI Agent access to your customers’ subscription data.

  1. Sign in to Skio
  2. Go to Account > API
  3. Enter a name for your API key, then select Generate API KeyOpening your API settings in Skio to generate a new key in order to connect Skio with Gorgias's AI Agent
  4. Copy your API key
    • Note: API keys from Skio can only be viewed once. Make sure to securely save it somewhere.
  5. Once you’ve obtained your API key from Skio, return to Gorgias to set up the Skio Action
    • Enter the API key from Skio when prompted to set up the AI Agent Action

Limitations

  • AI Agent is only able to skip or cancel a subscription in Skio if the shopper has a single subscription. If the shopper has multiple subscriptions with your store, AI Agent hands over the ticket for your team to resolve.
