Import Help Center from Zendesk, HelpDocs, Re:amaze, and IntercomUpdated 4 days ago
You can directly import your Help Center articles and categories from Zendesk, HelpDocs, Re:amaze, and Intercom into Gorgias.
If you'd like us to help you migrate from a different provider, please let us know by filling out this form:
Setup instructions
To start, in your Gorgias account, navigate to Settings -> Channels -> Help Center, and click on Create Help Center.
Or, if you're doing this from an existing Help Center in Gorgias, simply click on the Import icon:
After you have created your new Help Center, you will see the option to Import Articles:
You will see the option to either import via CSV, or connect to Zendesk, HelpDocs, Re:amaze, or Intercom.
For example, if you are importing from Zendesk, you will be prompted to provide your Zendesk API credentials, as well as your Email and Subdomain. Once you click Connect, the migration will start.
FAQs
Where can I find my subdomain?
For example, if your Zendesk helpdesk link is https://yoursubdomain.zendesk.com/, then your subdomain is the "yoursubdomain" portion of the URL.
What will be imported?
All articles and categories will be imported to Gorgias. However, we will not import appearance customizations or custom scripts you've implemented.
Gorgias has 3 states for articles or categories: draft, public, or unlisted (visible to anyone with a direct link only, not visible on the Help Center). All your published public articles and categories will be transferred as public, private articles and categories transferred as unlisted, and draft articles and categories transferred as a draft.
If you have any questions or concerns, contact us.
