Set up ConvertUpdated a day ago

Check out our video and the steps below to set up Gorgias Convert on your account.

1. Navigate to Convert → your Chat integration -> Installation.

2. Once you're on the Installation page, choose the appropriate connection method:

• If your website is powered by Shopify, choose 1-click install.
• If you're using a Shopify headless store, or some other e-commerce platform (Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, etc) choose Manual install.

3. Click Install. 

4. For Manual install a script will appear on the next page - this needs to be added to your store's code editor, right above the line that has the </body> tag.

Unlocking triggers for Shopify headless stores

To fully benefit from Convert in the headless Shopify environment, please check out the additional code snippet that you need to add, as listed in our developer documentation. It will allow Convert to use Shopify-based triggers under the Behavior section of the campaign conditions. 

Limitations for Shopify Headless stores

Product tags added to cart, Amount added to cart, and Currently visited product triggers can't be detected for Shopify headless stores.

On product cards, you won’t have the Add to Cart button, but a Show details button
