Review AI Agent’s sales performance (beta)Updated a month ago
You can measure AI Agent’s sales performance using Gorgias’ detailed reports. By looking at the AI Agent Sales page in your Statistics, you can review how effective the AI’s conversations have been based on key metrics like influenced revenue (GMV), average order value, conversion rates, and more.
You can also get insight into AI Sales Agent’s use of discount codes and the effectiveness of product recommendations it gives to shoppers.
Requirements
- Any role in Gorgias (Observer → Admin) may view the AI Agent report
- Only Team Leads and Admins can download data
Open the report and filter data
Use the filters at the top of the report to adjust and change your view on the data.
- Select Statistics from the main menu
- Select AI Agent Sales to open the report
- Use the dropdown menus at the top of the page to filter data:
- Date: choose a preset timeframe (7/30/60/90 days) or use the calendars to select a custom date range
- Aggregation: change how data is grouped in the report’s charts (by day, week or month)
- Store: select which Shopify store you want to see data from (if you have multiple stores)
Main sales metrics
Your main metrics help you assess how effective AI Agent’s conversations have been at influencing sales and providing a return on investment.
AI Agent is considered to have influenced a sale if the shopper places an order during or after a conversation with the AI, without any human intervention. Learn more.
Review the following table for a breakdown of each metric:

Total conversations | the total number of sales conversations handled by AI Agent |
GMV Influenced $ | the total revenue generated from orders placed during or after a conversation with AI Agent, without human intervention. |
GMV Influenced % | the percentage of total revenue generated from AI-influenced orders, relative to your total revenue. |

GMV Influenced % Over Time | the percentage of total revenue from AI-influenced orders plotted over time. Use the report’s filters to change the timeframe and how data is aggregated (by day, month, and so). |
Order data
You can use the Order Data section to understand AI Agent’s influence on your order volume and revenue.
AI Agent is considered to have influenced an order if the shopper places an order during or after a conversation with the AI, without any human intervention. Learn more.

AI Agent sales performance
You can use Performance section to measure how effective AI Agent has been at automating sales conversations (success rate), converting interactions into sales (conversion), and the overall time savings for you and your team.
Review the following table for a breakdown of each metric:
Metric | Description |
Success rate | the percentage of sales conversations that AI Agent successfully closed without human intervention. |
Conversion rate | the percentage of interactions with AI Agent that resulted in a sale |
Time Saved by Agents | the estimated time AI Agent saved your agents by handling sales conversations (average session duration multiplied by the total number of automated conversations). |
Discount codes and product recommendations
When someone starts a Chat on your website, AI Agent may make product recommendations or offer discount codes based on the shopper’s buying intent and your settings.
You can use these sections of the report to track AI Agent’s use of discount codes and the effectiveness of product recommendations.

% Discount Applied | the percentage of discount codes that shoppers used out of the total number of codes that AI Agent sent |
Average Discount | the average discount amount out of all the codes used by shoppers to make a purchase |
Total Product Recommendations | the total number of product recommendations that AI Agent made |
Click Rate | the percentage of product recommendations clicked on by shoppers |
Buy Rate | the percentage of product recommendations that led to a purchase |

- Select Download Data at the top of the report page to export your data to a spreadsheet.
FAQs
How are orders and revenue attributed to AI Agent?
When a shopper places an order with your store, we attribute the order and revenue to AI Agent if any of the following scenarios occur:
- A discount code that AI Agent gave to the shopper was redeemed
- A product that AI Agent shared in a conversation was added to the shopper’s cart and an order was placed
- The shopper clicked on a link that AI Agent shared and an order was placed
- The shopper engaged in a conversation with AI Agent and an order was then placed
