Benefits of BigCommerce

With Gorgias, you can:

  • Use BigCommerce variables in macros (canned responses)
  • View BigCommerce customer and order information in a customer's ticket
  • Easily access links to customer and order profile

How to connect BigCommerce?

To connect your BigCommerce account to Gorgias:

  1. In BigCommerce, visit the app store and search for Gorgias
  1. Click the Gorgias panel and select "Get this app"
  2. Click the "Install" button

  1. When Gorgias requests access to your BigCommerce Store, select the "Confirm" button

  1. If you have a Gorgias account, select the "connect" button for the specific Gorgias profile you would like to connect to BigCommerce. Otherwise, click the link titled "Here" to create a new Gorgias account

  1. Next, you will be prompted to add your Gorgias authentication credentials. IMPORTANT : Only input the name of your gorgias helpdesk. For example, if your helpdesk is "https://abc.gorgias.com/", only input "abc" under the Gorgias Domain Name Field

  1. To find these credentials, visit https://{{insert your Gorgias domain here}}.gorgias.com/app/settings/api and grab your Gorgias domain (the text of your Base API URL between https:// and .gorgias.com/api/), your email (Username), and your API key (Password)
  2. Input your authentication credentials into BigCommerce and select the "Save" button
  3. Once you've saved the authentication credentials, you can choose to sync customers who have not placed an order by selecting the "Sync customers who haven't placed an order" toggle. Then, select the order cutoff date (the latest date to sync orders from) and select "Save".
  4. After selecting "Save", check for the Green active icon below "Gorgias" to confirm your integration has been activated.

  1. πŸŽ‰ your BigCommerce store is now connected to your Gorgias account! From this point, we will do an initial import of all your customers into Gorgias. Any new order / customer will also be synchronized, and data about orders will be updated as changes occur.
