If you signed up for a Gorgias account prior to May 28, 2025 and you’ve subscribed to AI Agent, you have the option to upgrade your subscription to start using Shopping Assistant skills.
Shopping Assistant skills allow AI Agent to act like a smart, personalized shopping assistant that’s always available on your website to answer pre-sales questions and to help shoppers find and buy products.
In this article, you’ll learn how to upgrade your subscription to start using Shopping Assistant. If you don’t currently subscribe to AI Agent, visit the Billing & usage page in your helpdesk to subscribe.
Requirements
- You must have an Admin to Account Owner role to complete the upgrade
Upgrade your AI Agent subscription
Upgrading your current AI Agent subscription grants you access to Shopping Assistant skills, including:
- Proactive engagement with shoppers at key moments
- Personalized product recommendations powered by rich customer insights
- Maximized cart size with intelligent upsells
- Offer discounts based on purchase intent
When you upgrade your subscription, you agree to updated pricing, as well as updated terms outlined in Gorgias’s Subscription Agreement.
- Go to AI Agent from the main menu
- Under the Train section, select Shopping Assistant
- Select Upgrade Now
- Select the checkbox to confirm that you agree to updated pricing and terms, then click on Upgrade AI Agent
