Article Recommendation in Email (deprecated)Updated a day ago

Deprecated: Autoresponder Rules are no longer available for any new Gorgias accounts created after September 2024. If you created your Gorgias account before September 2024, you can use Autoresponder Rules until January 30, 2026. After this date, the feature will stop working. Brands with Shopify stores should use AI Agent to automate responses instead


Requirements

  • You must have an active AI Agent subscription to use Autoresponder Rules
  • You must have Lead, Admin or Owner permissions to manage Rules
  • Automate return request emails is supported on Shopify, BigCommerce and Magento stores

Steps


You can use the Article Recommendation rule to help your shoppers who contact you over email find answers to their questions with content from your Gorgias Help Center

This Rules allows you to automatically reply to inbound email tickets by suggesting up to 3 relevant articles from your Help Center. It then closes the ticket based on the order/cancel, order/damaged, order/wrong, other/question, subscription/cancel, and discount/request intents.


Once installed, you can further customize the Rule by:

  • Choosing the Help Center integration it should be tied to
  • Excluding email addresses that shouldn't receive this auto-reply
  • Changing the body of the message above the recommended article preview
  • Changing the body of the message below the recommended article preview
